Usman Saleem MD, MSPT, is a highly skilled Pain Medicine Specialist and Double Board-Certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology.
From four offices in Williston Park in Nassau County, Bellerose in Queens, Midwood in Brooklyn, and Port Jefferson Station, all in New York, Dr. Saleem provides expert care to patients ages 20 years and up and welcomes all ethnicities, backgrounds, and walks of life.
Before attending medical school, Dr. Saleem received a Master’s in Physical Therapy (MSPT) and practiced as a Physical Therapist. He completed his Bachelor of Science at New York University (NYU) in New York City, gaining knowledge and skills in Pain Management and Anesthesiology.
Dr. Saleem completed his residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, a public medical school and hospital in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Iowa (UI) in Iowa City. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Iowa.
Dr. Saleem is Board-Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) and trained in state-of-the-art methods of treating acute and chronic pain.
He is also skilled and practiced in treating neck pain (cervical pain), back pain and lower back pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, and knee pain. He always takes a personalized and integrative approach to treating each patient.
Dr. Saleem is fluent in English and Urdu.
